Technique Of Running Program



Running is a skill like any other to be learned. The ability to run efficiently is twofold.First the Athlete must learn the proper biomechanical movements, and secondly making the muscles stronger used in these movements.

Initially, every athlete is filmed and their technique is broken down. Next, a comparison of their technique with that of our model runner is made. We will explain to the athletes what we will be looking to accomplish. We find that if the athlete can see how a World Class Athlete performs, it gives them a better understanding of what we are striving for.

Only through constant repetition of proper movement patterns are we able to retrain the neuro-muscular system and teach the athlete the correct way to run. The second part of our formula for success is strengthening the necessary muscle groups. It has been our experience that a majority of athletes we work with initially are deficient in the muscle groups required to achieve maximum running efficiency and hence slower times.

  • NEW CLIENTS - Six 1 hour private training sessions required for entry into the Supervised Program - Cost: $250.00

2 Athletes 2 on 1

Whatever package you purchase can be applied to either weight training, speed training or a combination. Meaning we might train with weights two times a week and include on the third day a speed training session.

Cancellation Policy: Only pay for sessions used. If you cannot attend your scheduled session, please contact us via email or call the gym. Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

Scheduling a supervised session: You can either pre book your times weekly monthly or for the number of packages you purchased. You also have the option of booking your session with 24 hr notice.

Make sure you indicate what session you are attending speed or weight training also the day date and time. Supervised programs can be scheduled on the hour or half hour. Sessions generally run one hour or a little longer.
